Hail from Villupuram, Ramanujam and TS Ramalingam are also from Villupuram
Studied in Municipal High School Villupuram and Ramanujam was my class mate.
Studied PUC in Sir Thegaraja College in Washermanpet.
Joined College of Engineering , Guindy in 1964 along with Ramanujam and Ramalingam
Ramanujam was my room mate for all the 5 years.
In E5 made to run in Adyar river bank without dress as part of ragging
Kaliamurthy who was my room mate and he is no more now introduced me to non veg food.
Passed BE ( with good marks ) by studying Raman’s class notes
Joined BARC training school, Mumbai in 1964 along with Jayaraman
Posted to work in Nuclear Power Corporation, Mumbai
Stayed at Kaushik Lodge, Matunga as bachelor, Ramani and Raghavan were in the same lodge, Jayaraman frequent visitor.
Sent to Toronto , Canada in1968 to undergo design training in  Atomic Energy , Canada
Joined University of Toronto for MS programme. Convinced Canadian boss that I should do MS course as part of training.  I used go to office whenever there are no classes. Ramanujam who was in Edmonton , Canada visited me in Toronto
Called back to India in 1971 to design advanced  nuclear power station
Married Visalakshmi in 1971
Pramod was born in 1973 and married Sarita in 2001, he has a son.  Works for Jacob in India. Lives separately, this made our life easy
Ramesh was born in 1974 and married Monica an Irish American in2005 in a cruise ship off Florida . He has two sons. Works for Texas Instrument. Stays in DC
Left Atomic Energy in 1977 after my service bond was over
Joined ICI, a British multinational company
Retired from ICI in 1999
Continue to work with ICI group companies as a full time consultant
Settled in Mumbai
