Public Health Engg (College of Engg, Guindy) with over 40 years experience in City Water Supply, Sewerage, Water, sewage and industrial effluent treatment plants. Has served up to Engineering Director of Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board and has interacted with many missions of World Bank, Japanese Government, French Water Club and British High Commission. Has advised many industrial WTP / STP / ETP projects for giant installations. Presently technical advisor to the urban sanitation committee of Lok Sabha (Indian Parliament)

In his keynote address on “Innovations in Wastewater Treatment”, he highlighted the development of R.O process and its applications. He said World Environment Day should be treated as a day to preserve the Environmental resources, viz., Air, Water and Land.
